Der künstlerische Schwerpunkt des australischen Kollektivs Triage liegt in der Konzeption, Kreation und Dramaturgie von intimen und interaktiven Live Art – Events. Mit ihren Inszenierungen und Settings erlauben sie Begegnungen zwischen KünstlerInnen und Publikum oder zwischen ZuseherInnen untereinander. Dies gelingt ihnen in einer spielerischen, entwaffnenden und manchmal konfrontativen Form.
In this artist talk at Atelier Salzamt, Katerina Kokkinos-Kennedy (artistic director) of Triage will offer some insights into their artistic methodologies as creators of complex one-to-one performances that interrogate space, the role of theatricality, and audience participation. The artist will discuss recent works in the light of their dramaturgical approaches to performer/audience dialogue, & the development of works in which only audiences are involved. She will focus on their artistic and collaborative approaches, the contemporary significance of one-to-one works, and how such works are changing the nature of performance.
